Laser Quest weekend 1/2 October 2011

Older Scouts are invited to our first bridging event for Scouts and Explorers. This will be a camp at Braid Wood with laser quest in the afternoon followed by after dinner activities. Explorers will treat everyone to a cooked breakfast the next morning before we pack up to come home.

New Scout Leaders

The troop is getting a new Assistant Scout Leader as Sarah Hale has agreed to take on a leader warrant for the troop. Sarah will be going every week to the troop meetings to help Keith in running the meetings and activities.

As well as Sarah, two parents, Maurice Flaunders and Dee Wallace, have also offered to help on a more regular basis as troop assistants. This will not involve going down every week but they will help at at various meetings planning and running activities.

We wish all of our leaders in the troop good luck for the future.

Scout Badge Books Now Available

Don't forget, Keith now has a stock of the Scout Badge and Record Books for sale to the Scouts. All Scouts need these to keep a record of progress within the troop.

The packs include a set of skills cards and are available at the fantastic price of only £5.
