A new Explorer Unit is to open from September based at our Scout Hut in Cheddington.

Explorer Scouts is the section for 14-18 year old boys and girls, providing a mixture of challenge, adventure and social activities. We will be starting an Explorer Unit at Cheddington in September and will be running adventurous activities such as hiking, camping, sailing, canoeing and climbing as well as social activities, community service and leadership. Members will also be able to participate in the Duke of Edinburgh Award scheme. The Explorer Unit will be meeting on Monday evenings from 20:00 to 21:30 at the Scout Hut and will be led by our Group Scout Leader Ian Hale.

The number of members will have to be limited and therefore membership will be given on a first come first served basis. If you would be interested in being a member of the Unit or want to find out more, please use our joining form.
